Yuko is teaching Power Pilates. She is a performing artist (vocal,dance, act) residence and started her career at the Musical and Revue Theater “Takarazuka Revue” in Japan. For the last three decades she’s performed countless performances and productions: musical, revue, opera, drama, concerts, experimental music, improvisation and Tanztheater. Her encounter with the Finnish choreographer Tomi Paasonen inspired her to explore the interface between dance and music. Since 2010 she is residence artist in Haus Schwarzenberg in Berlin Mitte.
Live performances as an experimental platform and rendezvous, she organizes small events and performances all year around. In 2017 she received the master’s degree in choreography at the HZT Berlin, Inter-University Center for Dance Berlin/ UDK Berlin and HfS „Ernst Busch“. And besides her collaboration and creation, she enjoy singing old Hawaiian Music and teaches Pilates based conditioning training, develops her physical knowledge.
